  • Graham crackers – 1 Cup
  • Unsalted Butter – 4tbsp
  • Cream cheese – 1 Cup
  • Sugar – 1/3 Cup
  • Thick chilled cream – 1/2 Cup
  • Fresh fruits

How to make

Crumble the graham crackers and blend well with the butter. Transfer this to a 4×7 inch pan lined with parchment paper. Press firmly and evenly spread the mix to form a base and cool it for about 1 hour. Get an electric stirrer and mix in a separate bowl with the cream cheese and sugar. Mix until smooth, lower the mixing speed and add the cream and lime juice slowly. Increasing the mixer or stirrer speed before you feel the formation of peaks. Spread out uniformly on the crust this cream cheese mix. Refrigerate for 4 hours and serve with your choice of fresh fruits.

2. Paneer Laddoos

Ingredients 

  • Fresh paneer – 1 Cup
  • Whole Milk -1 Cup
  • Milk Powder – 1 Cup
  • Cow’s ghee – 1tbsp
  • White Sugar – 1/2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Pistachios (finely sliced) – 2 tbsp

How to make

In a non-stick frying pan, add the paneer and stir in the milk powder and whole milk. Cook on a low flame, and continue stirring. Scrape off the sides and allow the mixture to turn into a soft dough that will take you about 10 minutes to stir. Add the cow’s ghee and stir for a minute. Switch the flame off and move the paneer mixture to another bowl. Allow cool to room temperature and knead in the sugar and cardamom powder.
Shape the dough into one-inch balls and garnish the top with the pistachios.
Serve it chilled.

3. Sandesh With Pineapple

Sandesh is a traditional Bengali sweet, but it gets even more delicious when you spruce it with pineapple!

Ingredients

  • Whole milk – 4 Cups
  • Lime juice – 3 Tbsp
  • Refined sugar – 3 Tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – A quarter teaspoon
  • Canned pineapple – 6 Slices
  • Pistachios  – 2 Tbsp

How to Make

Mix milk and lime juice to make the paneer and bring it to boil in a saucepan. The whey comes out as the curd forms. Drain and wrap the curd in a muslin cloth. Cut the curd into a pan after cold water is rinsed. After rinsing with cold water, squeeze the curd to turn it into paneer. Roll the paneer in a soft and smooth dough for the Sandesh. Add powder of sugar and cardamom and knead. It’s time to add the pineapple to your Sandesh. Dry the pineapple pieces and lay them on top of the Sandesh evenly by patting it with a towel. Garnish with pistachios and chill for an hour. Serve chilled.

4. Orange Kheer

A new twist on the traditional Indian kheer recipe is the orange kheer. The boost of vitamin C is a great kick.

Ingredients 

  • Orange segments – 1 Cup
  • Corn flour – 2tbsp
  • A quarter cup of cold milk (full-fat version)
  • Four and a quarter cups of milk (full-fat)
  • White sugar – 1/2 Cup
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 Tbsp

How to Make

Get a bowl of medium size and blend well the cold milk with the cornflour. Set aside and approximately boil the regular milk cups at high heat for 6 to 7 minutes. In addition to the cornflour and cold milk, add sugar to the boiled milk. Blend well and cook for 10 minutes at low heat, stirring all the way. Mix the powder of the cardamom. Allow the blend or mix to cool down. When cooled, add in the orange segments and cool 2-3 hours. Serve chilled.

5. Mango Panna Cotta

Mango panna cotta will certainly be one of the best and healthy dessert recipes for kids.

Ingredients 

  • A can of fresh coconut milk
  • A quarter cup of refined sugar
  • Vanilla essence –  1 Tbsp
  • Agar-agar powder- 1 tbsp
  • Mango puree – 1 1/2 Cup
  • Lime juice – 2 Tbsp

How to Make

The cream and layer of a mango topping are two components of this recipe.

Boil coconut milk and sugar on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes for the cream Dissolve agar powder and add to the milk, together with vanilla essence, in lukewarm water. Allow it to boil for 2 minutes and mix until no lumps are noticeable. Whisk the milk and transfer to another bowl, allowing it to sit for 25 minutes.

Mix the puree, sugar, and lime juice in a saucepan and boil for two to three minutes for the mango topping. Mix with lukewarm water in the agar-agar and transfer it to the pulp. Boil until you find zero lumps for a few minutes. Remove the heat from the pan and whisk for a while on this mix. Pour over the cream layer this mango puree and cool for 3 hours.
Slice it into parts of the same length, if possible, and serve chilled.
