Confused? Which Career Options To Choose After 12th?

Career options after 12th

Confused? What To Opt After 12th?

It is a critical and career-defining decision to choose what to study after class 12th. Unfortunately, at the last minute, too many students begin career planning and end up choosing paths that are popular but not appropriate to their abilities. It is therefore important to start early and know what options are ahead of you after school so you can make a smart and calculated decision. Because of the lack of timely information, students often miss out on potentially great career choices.

While most of you may be planning to join medical or engineering colleges, after 12th I advise you to consider other career options as well as top courses. I would recommend courses and career opportunities other than medicine and engineering for a number of reasons.

Over 40 percent of nearly one million engineers who graduate in India each year are employable. The remaining 60% find it hard to find jobs because they lack the skills that match the degrees of engineering.

Ditto with medicine: India had more than 225,000 doctors unemployed by mid-2017. More than 55,000 doctors are churned out each year by medical colleges in India. Again, due to the lack of adequate skills, few are employable or lack the resources to open a clinic. Due to low returns on investment in education, the majority are unwilling to work in rural areas.

Don’t get confused about what to opt for your better future. It is very important to know and analyze your interests as well as options available in that field. So choose your field according to your interest.

We have  compiled a list of career decisions in India from a variety of fields:
